Aida Atikian is the founder and owner of Tailor Made Alterations. Aida grew up learning from one of the best seamstresses in Lebanon - her mother. As a little girl, Aida would watch her mother as she carefully sewed with great respect and passion. This passion quickly spread to Aida. As she grew older, Aida began to help her mother with the family business. In 1977, Aida moved to Toronto, Canada where she worked in a clothing manufacturing factory. When the factory unexpectedly shut down, Aida saw it as a true blessing in disguise and decided to use the opportunity to open her own business. Since then, Aida has received a diploma in Fashion Design and Pattern-Making from Centennial College.

Over the years, Aida’s Tailor Made has become one of Toronto’s most beloved alterations businesses. Known for her patience, attention to detail, Aida takes the time to understand her clients and listen to their needs. Aida treats sowing like an art and treats every project as a masterpiece. Clients liken her to magician, as she has the incredible ability to alter any piece of clothing.
